Mimuro no Shiro (三室の白) by Matsusakaya is a refined ceremonial matcha that celebrates the soft, pure essence of Uji’s tea terroir.

Its name — “The White of Mimuro” — pays homage to Mimurodo Temple in Uji, known for its tranquil gardens and hydrangea blooms, reflecting the serene beauty embodied in each whisked bowl.

Taste:Smooth umami with subtle sweetness and no sharp bitterness
Color:Brilliant jade green that froths into a silky, pale foam
Texture: Fine and velvety, ideal for daily whisking.

This matcha reveals the delicate, balanced character

Matsusakaya is celebrated for — gentle on the palate yet deeply flavorful.
It’s perfect for morning rituals, slow afternoons, or as a thoughtful gift for those beginning their matcha journey.

Each tin is freshly milled in Uji and sealed for maximum freshness — preserving its vibrant aroma and signature smoothness.

  1. Best enjoyed as usacha (thin tea) or paired with seasonal wagashi.
