Partnering with renowned tea farmers in Uji Shirakawa and Ujitawara, Itoh Kyuemon ensures its teas are made from hand-picked first-flush leaves, preserving the highest quality. These leaves are processed the same day to maintain their freshness and transformed into raw materials for Sencha, Gyokuro, and Matcha.
Tenjo is the second-highest grade in Itohkyuemon’s matcha lineup, offering a refined flavor without the harsh bitterness often found in lower grades.
